ADMIRALI BRIDGE

When the project manager from KMG Insenerehitus approached us with a request to create a solution for the architectural and functional lighting of Admiral's Bridge, our eyes lit up with excitement. However, there was also a sense of awe as it involved a highly complex structure, with a non-standard shape and the added significance of being a landmark that would adorn our city for a very long time.

Primary challenges: How to illuminate such a non-standard shape. How to install lights while ensuring minimal glare for people crossing the bridge or moving in its immediate vicinity. How to ensure the longevity of lights in a maritime environment.

In collaboration with Grupo MCI, one of the oldest lighting manufacturers in Spain, we developed a solution that now illuminates one of the most distinctive bridges in Estonia and perhaps the surrounding region.

For the lighting solution, we used Grupo MCI Square Grazer RGB lights (architectural lighting) and 3000K lights (functional lighting). By utilizing lenses with various angles, we were able to make this masterpiece shine spectacularly in the darkness. To protect the lights from seawater and salt, they were coated with a special layer, ensuring a longer lifespan in the harsh maritime environment.

Additionally, we illuminated the ship route barrier with Grupo MCI Mundo DOT 3000K LED lights.

The entire solution is DMX-controlled from a remote control center, providing the flexibility to create scenes according to the client's preferences.
